Paper roll clamp from stabau impresses with precision and safety

The new paper roll clamp from stabau GmbH, formerly Schulte-Henke GmbH, sets new standards in the handling of sensitive paper rolls. Developed for the safe and efficient transport of both standing and lying rolls, the attachment combines precision, stability and ease of maintenance – and thus makes a decisive contribution to process reliability in paper and packaging logistics.

The central feature of the clamp is the 180° rotary drive, which enables precise positioning and straight placement of standing rolls. In combination with an optimised gripper arm geometry, different roll sizes and positions can be picked up with precision. This makes the attachment universally applicable – for example, in paper and packaging production, in printing plants or for loading trucks and ships.

Rounded cast contact plates with a structured surface and an adjustable pressure relief valve ensure gentle handling of sensitive materials. This equipment allows the contact pressure to be precisely adjusted to the load requirements and prevents damage or slippage of the rolls. End position damping additionally supports controlled and material-friendly deposition in vertical operation. Stabau offers various optional configuration options, including different gripper plate coatings, load capacities and designs with split gripper arms for parallel handling of two rolls.

The paper roll clamp is also designed for maximum efficiency from a maintenance perspective. All hydraulic components are easily accessible, allowing service work to be carried out quickly and easily.
