In many areas of logistics and warehousing technology, telescopic forks are used in order to facilitate one-sided loading and unloading of trucks or storage in double deep racks. Furthermore, these forks can be used as extensions for the adjustment of load depth.

Telescopic forks are equipped with one- and two-cylinder forced hydraulic synchronism. The residual load capacity of the lift truck and driver visibility are far superior to reach forks and load extenders.

Load extenders are applied where telescopic forks cannot be used due to a low ground clearance of the load or where additional attachments are to be telescoped.
